Having a pink micro wedding
I love using colour in my weddings and flowers, something about the different shades and bringing them all together.
I created a shoot a few months back that has now been published in 'The English Wedding'blog (so happy) This shoot has something different about it, i cant put my finger on it to be honest, all i know is that its fresh and classic.
My inspiration for this shoot was not just micro weddings but the plates - YES! the plates. I saw these particular plates on Louis Potts in Lewis and i fell in love with the, The colours all seem to come together, so what i did was plan my board around them. Picking colours from the plate and then bringing them to live and using them into my floral centrepiece and wedding bouquet, the rest of the table decor all seem to then fall into place. Using protea as a main flower and then added hints of blues and lilacs into it all.
The table was set up with lots of candles, floating protea and a large standing long colourful centrepiece, the stationary that was designed by Katie from Moments stationary which complemented the plates and table so well.
We had a few dresses that had been supplied by Indulgence -- Wedding dress designer Willow by Watters and was worn by Amy who was our MUA too.
Creating beautiful wedding table decor, planning stunning weddings or arranging wedding flowers no matter what is, is something i take pride in.
