SO....this is my first blog and i am going to write it with no filters, no trying to be a blogger.. just me, my thoughts, my inspo's, my work and just stuff. JUST ME!
I started out being a PA for an ambassador, i loved it. I got to meet so many people from all walks of life, I got to meet ambassadors from all over the globe, it was incredible. Being a PA means so much more than just pen and paper, your someones right hand man, your there for the highs and lows, their back bone, their first point of call if they are angry or sad. You get to know people pretty well, you get to know how to read them so you know when to approach them or to stay away, with all the highs and the lows, i still loved my job.
From here i got to plan the embassies national day (Cypriot) from start to finish, organising the invites, press, security, catering, decor, transport, hotels, design, staging the works, it was a great experience, you don't realise what goes into one of these VIP events, so many protocols that you need to take and security clearances AMAZING and then BOOM.... It started, my event planning, I had requests from other embassies to organise their national days, The American Embassy, Kuwait, British Embassy, Spanish Embassy, Greek Embassy it was fab.
Doing the embassies events was an honour, but it didn't stop there, i then had requests from Yellow pages, Coca Cola, Unilever even the royal marine's eeek. After doing a few events i then studied for over a year and got my diploma in wedding planning, then the party started.
Wedding planning, wow, how much fun is this. i love seeing my clients face light up as they walk into the room and see what magic i have made ( of course its nothing to do with their partner that they are about to marry LOL) but honestly i find it a thrill to plan weddings from start to finish knowing my clients are relaxed and happy.
So there you have it, i now offer full wedding planning packages across the UK, from Sussex to London and will even travel further for the right client.
Below is a photo of one of my first corporate events that i have planned - I would love to show you the embassy photos but i can't SORRY x x
